  2. Vieng Xai Caves: built into beautiful limestone karst mountains
  3. Pathet Lao: former capital and quasi-birthplace of today's Laos
  4. Roadtrip: being trapped for a few days to repair my motorbike
  5. Forgotten: in sharp decline since the capital moved to Vientiane
