The Power of Positive thinking and how it can change your life

Let us start with the opposite of positive thinking:

What if I fail? What if people don’t agree with me? What will people think of me?

Sounds familiar, right? Our fears, our worrying and endless “what if” often result in sleepless nights and something that we call failure. But let us look at the very same situation from a different angle. If you are going to make a new step, apart from being a bit anxious and excited, what are all those feelings which you settle in your heart? At this important moment why do you let all those negative thoughts conquer your mind? People’s opinions are important as they lead to reactions. Nobody argues with that. But people are going to judge you anyway, your actions, your decisions. And it will always happen, no matter how hard you try to look perfect, to be perfect. What if you just let the good things happen? What if you stop overthinking and let things be? What if you do some positive thinking instead of imagining all the negative outcomes of your actions? If you give it a try, you will very quickly realize that your life is changing for the better. All you need to do is free your mind and focus on the good things.

Positive thinking in its pure form

There are lots and lots of books, essays and blog posts devoted to positive thinking. But do people fully realize the effect of it? Do they let their mind free and consciously choose to be positive and cheerful? It will take some practice and sometimes a total reboot of your system. The world around us with all the negativity coming from all possible sources, starting with the TV and news websites and ending with the neighbor’s childhood friend, seems to be showing us the misfortunes of the life. We see cruelty, we see tears and pain of others. We absorb it and reflect it. As a result, we transfer it to other people. This is like a contagious disease of the modern society. But what if the world is not all about the bad news and painful experiences? Easier said than done, but it really is possible to change your perception of the world and with the help of positive thinking you can find your path to happy and content life. All you need to do is choose the bright side.

This is your choice

Choice. So much is in this word. We make hundreds of choices daily. They are in simple things, routine actions. What to have for breakfast? Which color shirt to wear? Take a bus or a taxi to reach our destinations? Some people say there is a connection between all those little choices. Some people believe that it’s all predestined and your choice is already made by some mystical Adjustment Berau and it is just an illusion of choice that you have. Others think that you are a creator of your own destiny, and it’s all up to you. Both of them are right at some point. There is also a theory of so-called alternative space, some techniques, like reality transurfing, which you can use to control your life and make your dreams come true. If you are questioning life and the matter of choice, it means you are already on the right path. This is a key. The famous Latin quote says “Cogito ergo sum”, which means “I think, therefore I am”. If you decide to lead mindful and conscious life, it is already your choice. And it means that you are going to have lots and lots of questions. Some of them will be left without answers, but it is not a reason to give up. If positive thinking is your choice, then you are definitely going to succeed.

The law of attraction

The thoughts are material, as you might know. Whatever you think about, no matter if it is positive or negative, is going to be present in your life. This is how the law of attraction works. By focusing on positive things, you will attract more of those in your life. As simple as that. So, by changing your attitude to things, and by being grateful for what you have, you will assure you have started a new life. And this will be a life you will enjoy. I am not trying to say that it will all be like a spotless sky with no clouds at all as soon as you stop watching TV or talking to people who make you upset constantly. The thing is, positive thinking does make a difference. Selective information search does make a difference. Surrounding yourself with people and things that make you feel happy and inspire you does make a difference. Just give it a try, and you will be amazed with the fantastic changes positive thinking will bring into your life.
