Lake Nakuru
Lake Nakuru
finding a large family of rhinos instead of an endless group of flamingos

Location:
Lake Nakuru, Kenya
Duration:
Wednesday, June 8, 2016
Journey:
Personal highlights
- Lake Nakuru: the name meaning "dusty place", does not represent this park
 - Baboon Cliff: best place to get an overview of the beauty and size of the lake
 - Makali Waterfall: allegedly (unproven) best place to spot wild cats like a jaguar
 - Flamingos: once a great attraction, now completely vanished because of rainfalls
 - Rhinoceros: spotting an unusually large group and getting closer than expected
