- Hoi An: extremely well-preserved trading port in South-East Asia from the 15th century
- Vietnamese Desserts: a yummy mix of colourful jelly, coconut milk and sweet rice
- Museum: the entire old town is a museum, but there are specially themed buildings
- Touristic: one of the most touristic places I've visited in Vietnam, packed on the weekend
- UNESCO: over 1,000 timber frame buildings, a fusion of Chinese, Japanese and European
