  1. Sera Monastery: one of the great 3 monasteries in Tibetinfo-icon
  2. Assembly Hall: where monks at the age of 8 to 70 years pray
  3. Architecture: it has 110 pillars and can host up to 3,500 monks
  4. Revolution: the monastery was damaged 1959 after the Chinese takeover
  5. Location: 2km outside of Lhasa with some view over the city itself
