This will be your time away from the hectic pressure of the office. There are plenty of fantastic travel spots that will help you reconnect with nature.

It's Time to Plan Your Trip

When it comes to campsites in California, you will be particularly well served. This is one of the most camping and recreational friendly states in the Union. California has long been known for a vast abundance of outdoor opportunities of all types. No matter where you turn, you will find something to interest you.

This is great news for a traveler who may be dealing with the effects of a somewhat restricted budget. You don't necessarily have to go well out of your way to find a great vacation spot. There are so many to choose from that you can easily plan out a lifetime's worth of adventures to be spread out every time you go for a holiday trip.

Best of all, you won't have to spend vast amounts of time, energy, and money to ensure that you have a great time. It can be found here in your own backyard. This is all the more good news to know during times of pandemic lockdowns and other inconveniences. If you can't travel very far, at least you still have plenty of great choices to make.

Joshua Tree National Park

One of the natural wonders to be found in the Southern region of the state of California is the world-renowned Joshua Tree National Park. If camping is your passion, you will find over 500 separate places to pursue it. The park is a vast expanse of camping sites filled with desert terrain and the signature plant life that gives the location its name.

There is a host of touring, camping, and sightseeing activities here for you to choose from. Take care, however, to reserve your camping site in advance. Reservations will need to be made at least a month in advance. This way, you will have the best chance of being able to choose the site that best fits your personal needs.

Mt. Shasta National Park

Another one of the great places to visit in the state of California will be Mt. Shasta National Park. This is a place where you can satisfy your camping urge to the highest degree. The park is filled with top-level camping sites that will let you commune with nature in comfort and style. The views here are truly out of this world.

If hiking, camping, and swimming are what you are after, this is the place to scratch your itch. You can go for an hour-long hike straight down the scenic McCloud River trail all the way down to Middle Falls. This is where you can bathe or swim in the McCloud itself, provided you are prepared for a bit of an icy cold river dip.

Yosemite National Park

One of the hottest spots for camping and outdoor recreation in the northern part of California is the legendary Yosemite National Park. This is the place where you will find some of the oldest and largest trees on the planet. Many of the wonders of nature are here for you to come face to face with as you enjoy your vacation in true style.

You can spend all day in the camping grounds or head over to the nearby Sequoia National Forest to see some more of the amazing nature that the area has to offer. No matter where you turn, you will be in for a treat.

Big Bend National Park

You can sometimes hear Big Bend National Park be called “Texas’ Gift to the Nation” because of its abundant natural resources, rich history and culture, and recreational activities that it has to offer today. On top of all this, it’s extremely beautiful. Not only will this stunning park help you connect with nature, but with history as well. From Native Americans to Mexican Settlers, to Gold Minors, people of all types have lived on this land throughout history.

Big Bend National Park offers mountain ranges and rock formations that tower over you as well as stretching deserts and blooming cactus. If you stay late enough, you’ll see a sky so stunning you’ll understand why people in Texas always sing “the stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas!”

The Time to Book Your Travel Spot is Now

If you are serious about getting away from it all for a while, now is the time to make it happen. There are many hundreds of first-class travel spots all over the state of California for you to choose from. Now is the time to get your reservations in order for the trip of a lifetime.
