1. Hai Van Pass: mountain pass in the middle of Vietnam with strategic importance
2. Natural Border: southern border of the Chinese Han Dynasty in the 1st century
3. National Route 1A: top peak of a scenic route along the Vietnamese coastline
4. Hai Van Tunnel: longest road tunnel in South East Asia (missed in favour of the pass)
5. Journey: driving from Hue to Hoi An by bus instead of train, just for the view
