Personal highlights
- Lhasa Gonggar Airport: Tibet's main airport since 1965
- One of the world's highest airports (at 3,570 meters)
- Landing: amazing scenery within the Himalayas (not as nice as Paro!)
- Security: one of the most sophisticated systems I have ever seen
- Transportation: one hour away from Lhasa city, driven in a modern bus
